Terms & Conditions – Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

ALL sales are final.

If any product that you purchase is defective, you will have to contact us for an RMA, we will inspect the product, and if it is found to be defective, we will gladly exchange the item for you.

Our exchanges, refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

 

  • Electronics
  • Custom Wire Harnesses
  • Custom Seat Covers
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products, such as BUDS licenses.

 

Electronics

We do not accept returns on electronics due to the fact that Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Unplugging a wiring connector while the key is still on can create a momentary voltage surge or crossing up the wrong wires or using the wrong test procedures can also damage sensitive electronics.

You have no way of knowing whether or not the part has been used or damaged. Because of such risks, We do NOT allow returns on any electronic components. This may seem unfair to some customers, but it protects the next customer who might get a bad part that had been returned. If there is a problem with the part, we will exchange it.Rebuilt motor cancellation policies generally depend on whether you are canceling a service order with a shop or returning a purchased unit. Custom engine builds often incur a 25% or higher cancellation fee once processing begins, while core exchange programs typically require returns within 30 days for a full refund, with fees increasing up to 100% (no refund) after 120 days.

REBUILT MOTORS

Custom Orders/Rebuilds: Once an engine is assembled, orders are non-refundable. Cancellations before assembly usually incur at least a 30% fee to cover processing and design time.
 
Core Charges: If you purchased a remanufactured engine and are returning the old one (“core”), you must return it within 30 days to MotoMarine to receive a full refund. Late returns result in substantial deductions (30%–50%).
 
Warranty for Rebuilt Motors: Many remanufactured or rebuilt motors are sold with limited warranties, meaning any issues thst arise with the motor, MUST be inspected by MotoMarine. There are many mistakes that can be made during the installation process of a motor, which can cause immediate catastrophic failure, therefore engines NOT installed by MotoMarine as subject to a limited warranty and MUST be inspected by MotoMarine in the event of any issues.
 
Cancellation: Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
 
 

Restocking Fees

Our standard Restocking fee is 30%.
Shipping fees are NOT subject for refund.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info @ motomarineusa .com  and send your item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you must contact the original purchaser and have them contact us.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
